HELEN KELLER SCHOLARSHIPS Ohio Lions Foundation – Helen Keller Scholarships are awarded annually in the amount of $3000 each, on the basis of financial need and academic ability, to visually impaired Ohio students enrolled as full time students in either undergraduate or graduate programs at any of the six participating state supported universities: The Ohio State University, Ohio University, Bowling Green State University, Cleveland State University, Wright State University, University of Cincinnati and Youngstown State University. A total of eleven scholarships will be awarded for the coming academic year. Through this fiscal year, over $621,800 in Helen Keller Scholarships will have been awarded to students in nearly every academic field of study, including nursing, education, rehabilitation, electrical engineering, finance, computer/information science, music, and veterinary medicine.
